Hi all,
I have a text field that can get rather large... I use the limiter to display 60 characters in List and Filter view at present.
Does anyone know any Javascript or anything else I can use to see the entire note when I mouseover, or click (like a popup window)...
What also would help is if I was able to scroll the text box in List and Filter view...
A little bit of instruction on how to incorporate this feature into PhpMyEdit would be very helpful.

I rarely get into exotic CSS id, class, DIV positioning, but perhaps adding a CSS class (overflow:auto;) to the field would facilitate your addition of CSS scrolling so that trimlen could be removed. Maybe for experimentation, do a View Source in list mode and manually add a style class and CSS the desired field.

Usage of Firefox's Web Developer Toolbar / CSS / View Style Information (on mouse over) is helpful in determining each of 75 or so styles within various page modes. (easier than View Source using web browser)

It appears that a DIV tag with appropriate CSS would have to surround the data (using CONCAT) in order to create a scrolling box.
Or maybe CONCAT could be used to wrap a Javascript onMouseOver-type balloon to display content.
Updated 25 Oct 2009 the following creates a scrollable DIV in List/Filter mode.
