So far, I can create output files just fine using the phpMyEditSetup.php program. However, when I try to navigate to the file, I only get a blank screen. If I comment out the following line:

new phpMyEdit($opts);

The page displays, but I have no interface. My logs aren't showing any errors and I'm not sure what else to try.

Any ideas?

The page is completely empty. No HTML is posted when this line is present.

You may actually be running into a file ownership issue.

If the files being created are owned by the web server process, they may not be able to access the database.

Try doing a chown to the actual account ownership of the website, rather than the web server process.
