If the users are trying to launch the Windows Update Troubleshooter on Windows 10, then they should carefully apply the given steps.
Navigate to the Settings and launch it on your system.
After that, go to the Update and Security option.
You should click on the Troubleshooter option in the left-hand side panel.
Go to the Windows Update and select Run the troubleshooter option.
Whitelist Windows Update Servers
In case you intend to whitelist Windows update servers, then you can opt to follow the below-mentioned guidelines.
Go to the Start and launch it and input ‘internet options’ into the search section.
You should click on the ‘Internet Options’ and go to the Security section.
After that, select the ‘Trusted Sites’ option.
Then click on the Sites option.
Navigate to the shown Trusted sites section, untick the box of ‘Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone’ at the bottom of the screen option.
Reach the ‘Add this website to the zone’ section and input ‘
http://update.microsoft.com
’ and ‘
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
’ addresses.
You should click on the Add option once you enter each one of them.
Now, select the OK button to apply the changes.
