I’ve been looking into some long-term maintenance for a residential project involving older clay pipes and heavy landscaping. One of the biggest hurdles seems to be the persistent intrusion from nearby maples.
Does anyone here have experience with chemical barriers versus mechanical clearing to
prevent tree roots in sewer pipes
effectively? I’m trying to avoid a full excavation if a regular hydro-jetting schedule is enough to keep the flow stable. Any insights on the durability of various pipe relining options would also be appreciated.
