Hello,
i got stuck configuring the config.inc.php at the lines where to define the root and start directory.
As i understood the forum entries right, regarding similar problems, the root directory is the one where index.php resides. Whereas the start directory is beeing explored and displayed after the script has been started. (Please correct me if i am wrong!)
According to the forum entry "Starting directory setting" i have set:
fm_cfg['dir']['root'] = '../App/Data/Modules/Filemanager';
and
fm_cfg['dir']['start']='App/Doc/Acc/';
I have already tried several combinations but they had no effect. The only folder i can explore is the basedir of the script, including all subdirectories.
Can anybody please give me a broad hint?

maybe you must set the root dir as the root folder of the menaged files. so you cannot browse behind it using filemanager,
and the start dir must be the folder AFTER the root in which you want the program leads you by default.

Yeah, right, start directory must be under root directory. It's logic, isn't it? Let me know if you have still problems with phpWebFileManager.
