I tried something similar by editing the config file and it worked after restarting the service. Make sure you double-check the file path and permissions if it's still not showing up.

I had a similar setup and ran into the same issue until I tweaked the timeout settings and double-checked the server’s response format. Also, using the https://sms.to/sms-api helped me track delivery results more easily and figure out where the failures were happening. Their docs were pretty straightforward, and plugging it in saved me a lot of debug time. You might want to log the raw response to catch hidden errors.
