Acnedap
Gel is a topical medicine used to treat acne (a common skin condition that occurs when the pores of your skin become clogged, causing blackheads, whiteheads, or pimples). This medicine reduces swelling and stops the growth of bacteria.
Acnedap Gel is usually gentle on your skin. However, in some cases, it may cause side effects like skin peeling, irritation, redness, burning sensation, or dryness at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these side effects are bothering you for a long time or getting worse.
Acnedap Gel is for external use only. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Apply a thin layer of this gel to the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor, as your acne may get worse. Use sunscreen before stepping out in the sun as Acnedap Gel can make your skin sensitive to sunlight.

Uses of Acnedap Gel
What is it prescribed for?
Acne vulgaris
Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that occurs when the hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells, leading to the formation of blackheads (open pores), whiteheads (clogged pores), or pimples (a small raised spot on the skin). Acnedap Gel helps in clearing the blocked hair follicles, thus reducing acne flare-ups.
When not to use?
Allergy
Acnedap Gel is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any symptoms such as skin rash, hives (itchy, painful eruptions that sting), itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, etc.

Pregnancy
Acnedap Gel is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless necessary. Hence, consult your doctor to understand the potential risks and benefits before using this medicine.
Breast-feeding

Dosage
Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Acnedap Gel as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
An overdose of Acnedap Gel is not likely to cause severe symptoms. However, the ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required.
