The City has a huge playable area that players can play around in leisure. The new zone offers plenty of opportunities for players to engage with NPCs and undertake side quests and perhaps even move up to penthouses on the top of the City. With the introduction of an expansive, open-world zone such as the City and the City, comes the requirement of unlocking spawn points. In doing this, you will be able to enjoy greater ease of navigation and speedier activity completion.
The players can make use of spawn points to begin playing in specific areas of the City. The ability to unlock them will begin once the side quest Unlock Spawn Point becomes available. There are 7 spawn points to choose from.
All of the points of spawning are available simultaneously when the quest is completed. It is required that players run a specific distance across the city in order to finish the quest. Setting the spawning point can be accomplished from an online City map by selecting the desired location for spawning after which you confirm it.
The Unlock Spawn Points side quest is provided by ATM which is an NPC found in the city, and requires players to run 26.2 miles. The entire process must be conducted on foot, so using the BMX skateboard, skateboard or rollerblades will not add to the total amount completed. It is also necessary for the user to be running not walking. While tracking the quest, you'll see an indicator of progress on the left right side making it easy for players to track the distance they've run.
The distance total is recorded over time , and doesn't have to be completed at one time. Players should also be aware that running while in a place will not count, so continuously running won't help if there's an obstacle in the character's path. After players have completed 26.2 miles and have completed it, the majority of the spawn points will be made available. A spawn location can be set on the map to one of seven locations.
