All mysql functions are deprecated since PHP 5.5 and are going to be removed in PHP 7.
e.g. http://php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-fetch-array.php
Can someone share a new version of phpMyEdit.class.php that uses available functions?

- changed lines are marked as "PDO"
- function-names were changed iff function parameters were changed
- I did not find simple solution to replace the function sql_field_len(), so it is recommended to declare 'maxlen' option for (['select'] == 'N' || ['select'] == 'T')

Though in the class file I find sql_field_len is only used with function filter_heading() and only when 'select' is either N or T.
I cannot remember why I hacked my function filter_heading() and set
//$maxlen > 0 || $maxlen = intval($this->sql_field_len($res, $fields["qf$k"]));
$maxlen > 0 || $maxlen = 500;
