Spusti to pod privilegovanym uzivatelom root program <pre>/usr/local/bin/governor ondemand up_threshold 60</pre>. Tento skriptik povie jadru, aby sa frekvencia procesora nastavovala automaticky podla zataze. Parameter up_treshold hovori, ze ak bude aktualne zatazenie procesora vacsie ako 40%, ze ma jadro procesoru zvysovat postupne takt. frekvenciu az k maximu. Naopak, ak je zatazenie nizsie, ze sa ma znizovat.
Tym docielis taky efekt, ze ked pustis dlhsiu ulohu, procesor ti pojde automaticky na maximum. Ak nebudes robit nic narocne, pojde ti takt procesora naopak na uplne minimum.
